Q: What should be cautioned about Park Brake Shoe and Lining?
A:
You should turn the park brake shoe adjuster screw until it is fully retracted. When removing or installing the park brake shoe, you should place the open end of the park brake shoe over the axle flange and rotate it until the shoe has cleared the flange. When installing the park brake shoe, you should apply a small amount of brake lubricant to the brake shoe and the backing plate contact points and adjust the park brake shoe.
