Q: How do I install the Valve Lifter Oil Filter?
A:
You should install a new valve lifter oil filter O-ring seal into the valve lifter oil manifold, install the NEW valve lifter oil filter, apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the threads of the oil pressure sensor, install the oil pressure sensor washer and sensor, connect the engine harness electrical connector to the oil pressure sensor and install the intake manifold.

Q: What should be cautioned in replacing Valve Lifter Oil Manifold?
A:
You should remove only the outer gasket from the manifold. You can not disassemble any of the internal components of the manifold in an attempt to remove the 8 inner sealing gaskets. If the inner gaskets are cut or damaged, you should replace the manifold as an assembly. Only use a wire-cutter-type tool to minimize the amount of debris. And you can not use a rotary-type cutting tool on the retaining straps.
