You need to install the evaporator core to the HVAC module assembly, the upper HVAC module assembly from the lower HVAC module assembly, the evaporator cowl gasket to the evaporator, the screws to the HVAC module assembly, and the HVAC module assembly.

You need to remove the auxiliary HVAC module and the thermal expansion valve (TXV)-auxiliary and disconnect any wiring connectors or harnesses from the HVAC module.

28/10/2022Q: How do you remove the Air Conditioning Evaporator Core?
A:
You need to remove the HVAC module. If equipped remove the heat stakes from the HVAC module with a screwdriver and a hammer. Then you can disconnect all wiring connections from the blower motor, blower motor control module, and sensors. Also, remove all wiring from retainers before removal. If equipped remove the screws from the HVAC module assembly, remove the evaporator cowl gasket from the evaporator, separate the upper HVAC module assembly from the lower HVAC module assembly and remove the evaporator core from the upper HVAC module assembly.
