You need to remove the differential assembly, the pinion yoke and the oil seal, the drive pinion housing assembly, the drive pinion gear pinion, and the collapsible spacer, use the J 22912-B-remover and a hydraulic press to remove the inner drive pinion bearing, use a brass drift and a hammer to remove the outer pinion bearing cup, use a brass drift and a hammer to remove the inner pinion bearing cup and use a brass drift and a hammer to remove the pinion gear pilot bearing.

You need to remove the tire and wheel assemblies, the rear wheel axle shafts, the rear brake rotors, and the propeller shaft from the vehicle use an inch-pound torque wrench to measure the amount of torque required to rotate the pinion, place an alignment mark between the pinion and the pinion yoke, sing the J 8614-01-holder/remover and holding it, remove the pinion nut, remove the washer, use the J 8614-2 and the J 8614-3 to remove the pinion yoke and use a suitable tool to remove the drive pinion seal.
