You need to drain the axle lubricant, remove the rear axle shafts, the rear propeller shaft from the vehicle, and the drive pinion flange/yoke and/or oil seal, use a hydraulic press and an appropriate tool to remove the pinion, remove the collapsible spacer, use a hammer and a brass drift in the slots provided to remove the outer pinion bearing cup and use a hammer and a brass drift in the slots provided to remove the inner pinion bearing cup.

The recommended torque is 120 Nm(89 lb-ft).

You need to remove the differential case assembly and the drive pinion housing assembly and remove and discard the gear bolts, replace them with new ones only and use a brass drift and a hammer to remove the ring gear from the differential case.

If the differential case has become separated, assemble the differential case by aligning the two arrows inside the differential case. You need to install the ring gear to the differential case, hand tighten the new ring gear bolts, install the new ring gear bolts, the drive pinion housing assembly, and the differential assembly, fill the axle with the proper lubricant and remove the support and lower the vehicle.

You need to use the J 37624 and the J 8092 to install the inner pinion bearing cup into the pinion gear bearing retainer, use the J 8608 and the J 8092 to install the outer pinion bearing cup into the pinion gear bearing retainer, apply a sealant to the surface of the selective shim, install the pinion gear bearing retainer, the drive pinion flange/yoke and/or oil seal, the rear propeller shaft from the vehicle and the rear axle shafts, fill the axle with axle lubricant and remove the support and lower the vehicle.
