Q: How to remove the Power Brake Booster Vacuum Check Valve and Hose?
A:
First, you need to apply and release the brake pedal several times to deplete the power vacuum brake booster vacuum reserve. Then, please disconnect the vacuum brake booster check valve and hose assembly from the power vacuum brake booster, remove the vacuum hose and clamp from the check valve and compress the clamp to release the hose from the check valve. If it is equipped with a 6.0L engine, you should remove the upper intake manifold sight shield and disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose from the intake manifold.

Q: How to install the Front Brake Hose?
A:
First, you need to install the NEW copper gaskets to the brake hose and bolt, assemble the brake hose fitting bolt to the brake hose fitting, install the brake hose assembly to the caliper and tighten the fitting bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb-ft) and install the brake hose bolt to the frame and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb-ft). Then, please remove the rubber cap or plug from the brake pipe fitting, install the brake pipe to the brake hose and tighten the brake pipe fitting to 25 N.m (18 lb-ft). Finally, you should fill the brake master cylinder reservoir, bleed the hydraulic brake system and install the tire and wheel assembly.
