2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer Canister Purge Valves

First, you need to disconnect both the air inlet and air outlet pipes from the secondary air injection (AIR) reaction pump. Then, please remove the electrical relay from the AIR pump bracket and disconnect the electrical connector from the AIR pump. Finally, you should remove the 3 bolts securing the AIR pump bracket to the vehicle frame and remove the AIR pump from the vehicle.

First, you need to remove the air cleaner outlet resonator, disconnect the electrical connector from the secondary air injection (AIR) reaction solenoid valve, and disconnect the AIR pump air outlet pipe from the AIR solenoid valve. Then, please remove the nut securing the transmission fluid level indicator tube to the AIR solenoid valve, and remove the transmission fluid level indicator tube from the AIR solenoid valve stud. Finally, you should remove the 2 AIR solenoid valve studs, and remove the AIR solenoid valve and the gasket from the engine.

First, you need to disconnect the harness electrical connector from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve. Then, please disconnect the EVAP purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve and disconnect the engine vacuum pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve. Finally, you should remove the purge valve from the purge valve mounting bracket. If replacing the purge valve bracket, you should remove the attaching bolt and purge valve bracket.
