Q: How to remove the Shock, Shock Component, and/or Spring?
A:
First, you need to remove the tire and wheel, remove the shock absorber to the shock absorber yoke bolt, and remove the shock absorber assembly from the vehicle. Then, please install pieces of heater hose to the front spring, install the shock absorber assembly into the J 45400, and turn the spring compressor adjusting screw until the front spring is compressed. Finally, you should remove the shock absorber nut and suspension washer, remove the shock absorber from the front spring, loosen the spring compressor until the front spring insulator can be removed, remove the front spring insulator and the front spring from the J 45400, and remove the front shock absorber retainer, front shock absorber boot and the front shock absorber upper bumper from the front shock absorber.
