Q: How to remove the Front Side Door Latch?
A:
First, you need to close the window to the full-up position and remove the door trim panel and the rear half of the water deflector. Then, please disconnect the lock rod retaining clip from the outside door handle, remove the lock rod from the outside door handle, disconnect the lock cylinder rod from the cylinder, remove the inside door handle, and remove the 3 screws that retain the latch to the door. Finally, you should position the latch to disconnect the electrical connectors as needed, remove the latch from the door, and note the position of the inside and outside handle lock rods, remove the inside and outside handle lock rods from the latch, and remove the actuator from the latch.

First, you need to install the actuator to the latch, position the latch to the door, and connect the electrical connectors to the latch. Then, please install the 3 fasteners that retain the latch to the door, install the outside handle lock rod to the outside handle, and install the inside door handle lock rod to the latch. Finally, you should install the water deflector and the door trim panel.
