Q: How to remove the Steering Knuckle (4WD)?
A:
First, you need to remove the tire and wheel center cap, and the drive axle nut, and raise and support the vehicle. Then, please remove the tire and wheel, the wheel hub and bearing, disconnect the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle, and remove the brake hose bracket from the steering knuckle. Finally, you should remove and discard the upper control arm to the steering knuckle pinch bolt and nut, disconnect the upper control arm from the steering knuckle, remove and discard the lower ball joint retaining nut, remove the steering knuckle from the lower control arm, and remove the steering knuckle from the vehicle.
