Q: How to remove the Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod-Off Vehicle (Magnasteer)?
A:
First, you need to remove the rack and pinion boot and place the gear in a vise. Then, please remove the shock dampener from the inner tie rod housing, slide the shock dampener back on the rack, and place a pipe wrench on the rack next to the inner tie rod housing. Finally, you should place a wrench on the flats of the inner tie rod housing, and rotate the inner tie rod housing counterclockwise, while holding the rack stationary, until the inner tie rod separates from the rack.
