Q: What is the removal procedure for the Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe (LR4, LM7, LQ4) (4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L)?
A:
The procedure is to disconnect the cooler lines, open the oil cooler hose clip located on the lower fan shroud, remove the oil cooler hoses from the clip, pull the oil cooler pipe fittings straight out from the radiator quick connect fittings, remove the oil cooler hose bracket bolt, remove the oil cooler hose adapter bolts, and the oil cooler hose assembly and gasket, discard the gasket.
