The procedure is to remove the following: the transmission oil pan and filter, the 1-2 accumulator, the solenoid retainer bolt and the solenoid retainer, the pressure control solenoid, the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoid retainers and the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoids.

A:
You should be sure all solenoids are installed with the electrical connectors facing the non-machined (cast) side of the valve body.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator?
A:
The procedure is to disable the SIR system, put the shift lever clevis into the neutral position, remove the knee bolster, disconnect the electrical connector, pry the A/T shift lock control actuator away and remove the A/T shift lock control actuator.
