Q: What is the removal procedure for the steering shaft coupling?
A:
The procedure is to set the front wheels in the straight-ahead position, install anti-rotation pin J 42640, mark the relationships of the steering shaft coupling, the upper intermediate steering shaft, and the power steering gear, remove the steering shaft coupling bolt at the steering gear, remove the steering shaft coupling nut and bolt at the upper intermediate steering shaft and remove the steering shaft coupling from the vehicle.
