Apply a light coat of high-temperature brake lubricant to the park brake shoe contact areas of the brake backing plate. Install the front park brake shoe. Ensure the park brake shoe is properly seated in the park brake actuator. Install the front park brake shoe hold-down spring. Install the rear park brake shoe and the lower park brake shoe retainer spring. Ensure the park brake shoe is properly seated in the park brake actuator. Install the rear park brake shoe hold-down spring. Install the park brake shoe adjuster. Install the upper park brake shoe retainer spring. Adjust the park brake.

A:
Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Remove the rear brake rotor. Retract the park brake shoe adjuster to ease removal. Remove the upper park brake shoe retainer spring. Remove the park brake shoe adjuster Remove the rear park brake shoe hold-down spring. Remove the lower park brake shoe retainer spring and the rear park brake shoe. Remove the front park brake shoe and hold down the spring. Remove the front park brake shoe. Clean the rear brake backing plate.
