A:
The proper way is to install the first chrome alloy ball when the CV joint cage tilts, install the top half of J-36652-1-Tool or J-36652-2-Tool onto the lower half of the tool, over the CV joint boot and the CV joint assembly, and then install the wheel drive shaft.

The procedure is to remove the wheel drive shaft, remove the first chrome alloy ball when the CV joint cage tilts, remove the inner race from the cage by rotating the inner race upward, and then clean the half-shaft bar.
