A:
The proper way is to position the belt behind the rear face of the balancer and off of the A/C pulley, install the belt installation tool onto the balancer, slide the belt installation tool downward, position the belt onto the A/C pulley, apply light tension to the belt, position the lower portion of the belt with the ribbed area facing forward, install the skid plate, and then install the accessory drive belt.
