A:
The proper way is to install new exhaust manifold seals, install the catalytic converter pipe to the exhaust manifolds, install the catalytic converter pipe to exhaust manifold nuts and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft), install the transmission crossmember, and then install heated oxygen (HO2S) and connect the heated oxygen (HO2S) sensors harness connectors.

The procedure is to remove the oil pan skid plate, remove heated oxygen (HO2S) and disconnect the heated oxygen (HO2S) sensors harness connectors, remove the catalytic converter pipe to the exhaust manifold nuts and lower the converter, and then remove the exhaust seals and discard.
