Then, with the engine off, you should gradually apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance and slowly release the brake pedal. After that, you should wait 15 seconds and then repeat steps 6-7 until a firm brake pedal is obtained. This will properly seat the brake caliper pistons and brake pads. Finally, you should fill the master cylinder reservoir to the proper level and burnish the brake pads and rotors.

The recommended torque is 60 Nm (44 lb-ft).

Finally, you should repeat steps 2 and 3 until approximately 20 stops have been completed and you should allow sufficient cooling periods between stops to properly burnish the brake pads and rotors.
