Q: How to remove the intake manifold?
A:
First, you should remove the power steering fluid reservoir upper bracket, the power brake booster vacuum check valve and hose, the coolant air bleed pipe, and the intake manifold cover. Then, you should disconnect and remove the positive crankcase ventilation tube from the intake manifold and right camshaft cover and remove the evaporative emission hose. After that, you should remove the fuel pipe shield, unclip wire harnesses as necessary and remove the intake manifold bolts, the intake manifold assembly, and the intake manifold gasket. Finally, you should clean the intake manifold and disassemble the intake manifold.

Q: How to install the upper intake manifold?
A:
First, you should install the 2 upper-to-lower intake manifold alignment pins, the new upper intake manifold gasket bank 1 and 2, and the upper intake manifold. Then, you should install the 2 short and 4 long intake manifold bolts. After that, you should install the power brake booster vacuum pipe connector, the electrical connector, the fuel injector wiring harness plug, the secondary air injection pump pipe, the charge air cooler outlet duct, and the engine coolant air pipe. Finally, you should connect evaporative pipes and install the air cleaner outlet duct and the intake manifold cover.
