Finally, you should clean the oil pan and the engine block gasket surface.

Q: How to remove the engine oil and oil filter (LAU)?
A:
You should first raise and support the vehicle and place a drain pan under the oil drain plug. Then, you should remove the oil pan drain plug and allow the oil to drain completely. After that, you should install the oil pan drain plug and use a 32 mm (1 1/4 in) socket on the hex on top of the Oil Filter cap, or an oil filter wrench on the outside diameter of the oil filter cap. Finally, you should remove the oil filter cap and filter and filter from the cap.
Q: How many fasteners attach to the oil filter adapter?
A:
There are 4 fasteners that attach the Oil Filter Adapter.
Q: How to remove the oil level indicator tube (LAU)?
A:
First, you should disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose. Then, you should remove the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt and the exhaust manifold heat shield. After that, you should remove the oil level indicator and tube from the lower crankcase. Finally, you should remove the O-ring from the oil level indicator tube.
