You should ensure each Valve Lifter is filled with clean engine oil and the valve lifter does not tip over (plunger down) before the installation of the valve lifters. The loss of oil in the valve lifter lower pressure chamber or the dry stroking/cycling of the valve lifter plunger will allow air to travel into the high-pressure chamber of the valve lifter. Air in the high-pressure chamber of the valve lifter may not be purged causing extensive engine component damage.

You should remove the rocker arms and the starter motor, install the EN 46106 tool to prevent crankshaft rotation, remove the spark plug from the applicable cylinder and install the EN-39313 adapter to the applicable cylinder. Then, you should connect the EN-39313-adapter to a compressed air source, install the EN-46110-compressor above the applicable cylinder, tighten the EN-46110-compressor nut, remove the valve keepers and loosen the EN-46110-compressor nut. Finally, you should remove the Valve Spring retainer and the valve spring and use the EN-46116-remover/installer to remove the valve stem seal.

You should remove the ignition coils and the upper intake manifold, disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose from the camshaft cover, and disconnect and remove the engine harness from the camshaft cover. Then, you should remove the right camshaft cover bolts and the right camshaft cover from the right cylinder head, clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head and the camshaft cover and install the EN-46101-guide onto the spark plug tubes of the right cylinder head.
