01/11/2022Q: How to remove the strut assembly?
A:
You should raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly and the stabilizer shaft link from the strut and disconnect the headlamp level sensor link from the lower control arm if equipped. Then, you should support the lower control arm and the steering knuckle, disconnect the electrical harness/sensor from the strut, if equipped, and remove the front compartment side sight shields. After that, you should use the CH 49375 - wrench to remove the front suspension strut mount nut and the front suspension strut mount washer and remove the front suspension strut bolts, the front suspension strut nuts, and the front suspension strut assembly from the vehicle.
