Q: How to remove the engine front cover?
A:
You should remove the intake manifold and the camshaft covers, drain the engine coolant and remove the water outlet with the radiator hose and reposition aside, remove the generator and the power steering fluid reservoir, and reposition the power steering fluid reservoir. Then, you should remove the crankshaft balancer, the camshaft position sensors, the belt tensioner, the camshaft position actuator solenoid valves from the front cover and the engine front cover with the water pump, disassemble the engine front cover, carefully clean the engine front cover sealing surfaces and use compressed air to remove any engine coolant from the engine cooling passages and the top of the oil pan scraper (windage tray).
