FAQ for Valve Stem Oil Seal Repair

Q: How to remove the valve stem oil seal and valve spring-left side?
A:
You should remove the rocker arms and the starter motor, install the EN 46106 tool to prevent crankshaft rotation, and remove the spark plug from the applicable cylinder. Then, you should install the EN-39313-adapter to the applicable cylinder, connect the EN-39313-adapter to a compressed air source, install the EN-46110-compressor above the applicable cylinder as shown, and tighten the EN-46110-compressor nut. After that, you should remove the valve keepers, loosen the EN-46110-compressor nut, remove the valve spring retainer and the valve spring and use the EN-46116-remover/installer to remove the valve stem seal.
