2010 Cadillac SRX Window Regulator

You should remove the rear side door trim panel and the rear side door water deflector, position the window to access the rear side door window regulator guide bolts, loosen the nuts on the window regulator guide raise the window to the fully up position, tape in place and disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.

You should first remove the front side door trim panel, and the front side door water deflector and position the window to access the front side door window regulator guide bolts. Then, you should loosen the nuts on the window regulator guide and raise the window to the fully up position to tape it in place. After that, you should disconnect the electrical connector from the motor and the window regulator motor is not serviceable. When installing a new window regulator, you should remove the two window regulator guide bolts. Finally, the window regulator guides must be raised to meet the window before installing the window regulator guides bolts.

The recommended torque is 11 Nm (98 lb in).
