Q: How do I install the Air Conditioning Compressor Belt?
A:
First, you will need to position the belt behind the rear face of the balancer and off of the A/C pulley. Next, install the installation tool onto the balancer, Slide the installation tool up, install the belt onto the installation tool, then slide the installation tool down, position the belt onto the A/C pulley, and apply light tension to the belt. Rotate the pulley in a clockwise direction while using finger pressure to pull the belt forward. Check that the ribbed area of the belt stays facing forward and the belt aligns properly with the A/C pulley. Fully rotate the balancer to check the proper installation. Install skid plate and accessory drive belt.
