Start by attaching the sensor to the vacuum brake booster, position the hose clamp to the vacuum hose and install the hose to the power brake booster vacuum sensor. Connect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.

Q: How do I remove the Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor?
A:
Apply and release the brake pedal until the pedal becomes firm, then disconnect the power brake booster vacuum sensor and remove it, release the hose clamp and remove the hose from the sensor.

Q: How do I remove the Power Vacuum Brake Booster?
A:
You will need to deplete the Power Vacuum Brake Booster reserve. Disconnect the brake vacuum sensor and the under hood electrical center and bracket, the master cylinder, and the brake pedal pushrod nut. Remove the brake pedal pushrod washer and the brake pedal pushrod from the brake pedal pivot pin. Remove the power brake vacuum booster and gasket, and replace them if there is any visible damage.
