When installing be sure that the arrow on the filter is facing down.

Q: How do I install the new filter?
A:
Slide the new filter into the filter housing, close the filter door, lock the tab down, and then raise the compartment door until the doorstops snap into their tracks.

Q: How do I remove the cabin air filter?
A:
Opening the I/P compartment, squeeze the on each side of the compartment door until the stops can be removed from its track, now lower it completely. Open the filter door by reaching through the opening and raising the tab so that the door can be opened downward, remove the filter by sliding through it out of the compartment filter housing.
