First, install the timing chain onto the exhaust camshaft actuator and align the exhaust camshaft actuator alignment mark. Next, install a new exhaust camshaft actuator bolt. Install the camshaft actuator retainer bolts and tighten them to 10 Nm. Finally, install the upper timing chain guide and bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.

Q: What is the camshaft position intake actuator removal procedure?
A:
First remove the camshaft cover, and the spark plugs and rotate the crankshaft clockwise. Next, install the camshaft actuator retainer bolts and tighten them to 10 Nm. Remove the upper timing chain guide bolt and guide. After that remove the timing chain tensioner and install the chain retention tool. Rotate the exhaust camshaft clockwise slightly to take the tension off of the timing chain on the intake actuator. Next, remove the intake camshaft actuator.

First, install the hydraulic valve lash adjusters into their bores in the cylinder head and lubricate the hydraulic valve lash adjusters. Next, lubricate the valve tips and place the rocker arms on the tip of the valve stem and the valve lash adjuster. Lubricate the rocker arms and install the exhaust camshaft. Tighten the bearing cap bolts to 10 Nm.
