Q: How do I bleed the ABS?
A:
Start with inspecting the battery's state of charge. Then lift and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel assemblies and inspect the brake system for leaks and visual damage. Install a scan tool and Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF, with the scan tool, establish communications with the electronic brake control module. Bleed the base brake system. Follow the scan tool directions until the desired brake pedal height is achieved. When the desired pedal height is achieved, press the brake pedal to inspect for firmness. Next, install the wheel and tire assembly.
