At an empty stop, the ohms should be 247-253 and at a full stop, the ohms should be 38.5-41.5.

Start with installing the drain plug and sensor, then reconnect the sensor and lower the vehicle.

06/01/2022Q: How do I install the right side Fuel Level Sensor?
A:
Install new level sender assembly into the slot and slide down until fully secured. Route wires next to the regulator ground wire and up to the electrical connector. Slide the level sender wires into the open slots in the electrical connector. Connect the electrical connector to the flange. Test the level sender resistance with an ohmmeter. Install the module into the tank and measure the resistance across the level sender with the tank upright. Should read empty tank then roll the tank over, it should read stop. Return the tank to the upright position. Ensure proper empty stop resistance.

Start with lifting and supporting the vehicle. Drain the engine oil and disconnect the electrical connector. Then remove the sensor.

05/01/2022Q: How do I remove the right-side Fuel Level Sensor?
A:
First, remove the module from the fuel tank. Then Press on the connector position assurance with your thumb and slide downward. Disconnect the electrical connector from the module and remove the sender wires from the electrical connector, Push in the lock tab above the level sender body and slide the level sender out of the slot. Remove the level sender from the module. Ensure wires are routed into the slot in the back of the level sender body.
