Q: How do I remove the Rear Compartment Lift Window Strut?
A:
Start with opening and supporting the rear lift window panel. Next, disconnect the lower rear defogger electrical connector from the strut. Reposition the retaining clip outward from the strut lower ball socket using a small flat-bladed tool and pull the strut from the lower ball stud. Move the retaining clip outward from the strut upper ball socket. Disconnect the electrical connector from the upper end of the strut and remove the strut from the upper ball stud.
