Q: How do you install the Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod?
A:
You can position the new steering gear rack thrust washer, install the steering linkage inner tie rod, place a soft jaw pipe wrench or soft jaw pliers on the flat surface of the steering gear rack, place a torque wrench with a crows foot wrench attachment on the flats of the inner tie rod housing, bend the tabs over on the steering gear rack thrust washer and install the steering gear boot.

Q: How do you replace the Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod?
A:
You can remove 1 steering gear boot, turn the steering wheel, bend the tabs on the steering gear rack thrust washer, place a soft jaw pipe wrench or soft jaw pliers on the flat surface of the steering gear rack, place a crows foot wrench on the flats of the inner tie rod housing, rotate the steering linkage inner tie rod housing counterclockwise and then remove the steering gear rack thrust washer.
