The procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, support the transmission with a transmission jack, and then remove the Transmission Mount mounting bolts for RWD vehicles, the transmission mount mounting bolts for 4WD vehicles, and the transmission mount from the vehicle.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the automatic transmission fluid and filter?
A:
The procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, place a drain pan under the transmission oil pan, remove the oil pan drain plug if equipped, the catalytic converter, and the oil pan bolts from the front and sides of the pan only, loosen the rear oil pan bolts approximately 4 turns, lightly tap the oil pan with a rubber mallet, remove the remaining oil pan bolts, the oil pan, and the gasket and the filter seal, and then clean the transmission case and the oil pan gasket surfaces with solvent, and air dry.
Q: What is the installation procedure for the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator?
