Start with positioning the outside door handle rod in the clip to eliminate any free space in the outside door handle. Next, install the clip cover closed over the threaded outside door handle rod and inspect for proper function. Lastly, install the rear door water deflector and the rear door trim panel.

Start with installing the outside door handle and the rod to the door. Then install the bolt through the latch hole, the bolts to the rear door handle, the rear door lock, the outside door handle bolt access tape, and the outside handle rod into the clip and close it over the handle rod. Inspect the outside door handle for proper operation and remove the masking tape. Install the water deflector and door trim panel.

Start with raising the window fully up, next remove the front door trim panel and front water deflector. Apply masking tape around the outside handle. Open the outside door handle rod to the locking clip. Remove the lock cylinder rod, the door handle bolt access tape, the bolts from the outside handle, the outside handle and the rod from the door.

Use a flat-bladed tool to release the threaded rod from the clip. Position the rod in the clip to eliminate any free play in the outside handle. Inspect the lock for proper operation.

Start with removing the rear door trim panel and the water deflector. Use a flat-head tool to open the clip from the threaded rod connecting the lock to the outside handle and adjust by removing the threaded rod from the clip.
