Q: How do I install the Ignition Lock Cylinder Case?
A:
Start with aligning the ignition lock cylinder case with the steering column tilt head assembly. Screw the 3 TORX(R) screws. Press the locking tab on the end of the park lock cable assembly into the slot in the ignition lock cylinder case. Next, install the turn signal switch housing, turn signal and multifunction switch assembly, the steering column tilt head components, the ignition switch, and the ignition lock cylinder. Lastly, enable the SIR system.

Q: How do I install the Ignition Lock Cylinder?
A:
Start with aligning the lock cylinder retaining pin with the access hole in the ignition lock cylinder case. Then push the ignition lock cylinder into the ignition lock cylinder case. Next install the steering column trim covers, the steering wheel, and the tilt lever. Then enable the SIR system and connect the negative battery.

Q: How do I remove the Ignition Lock Cylinder Case?
A:
Start with disabling the SIR System. Next, you will need to remove the ignition lock cylinder, the ignition switch, the steering column tilt head components, the turn signal switch housing, the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly only, the park lock cable assembly, the 3 TORX(R) screws and the ignition lock cylinder case from the steering column tilt head assembly.

Q: How do I remove the Ignition Lock Cylinder?
A:
Start with disconnecting the negative battery. Next, disable the SIR system. Then remove the tilt lever, the steering wheel, and the steering column trim covers. Rotate the ignition lock cylinder to the crank position, push down and hold the lock cylinder retaining pin through the access hole in the ignition lock cylinder case. Release the ignition lock cylinder to the run position and remove it from the steering column.

You can get the uncoded cylinder, insert the tumbler springs, and install the tumbler retainer.
