Q: What is the steering linkage inner tie rod assembly procedure?
A:
First, install the left inner tie rod to the rack and place a pipe wrench on the rack next to the left inner tie rod housing. Next, tighten the inner toe rod to 100 Nm, install the right inner tie to the rack, and stake both sides of the 2 female inner tie rod housings to the male rack. Finally, install the 2 steering gear boots and breather tubes to the steering gear.

23/03/2022Q: What is the steering linkage outer tie rod installation procedure?
A:
First, install the outer tie rod assembly to the inner tie rod assembly. Next, install the outer tie rod assembly to the steering knuckle. Install the prevailing torque nut to the outer tie rod assembly and tighten the nut to 30 Nm.
