Q: What is the removal procedure for the sunroof motor/actuator?
A:
The procedure is to lower the headliner, disconnect the electrical connector from the motor/actuator, remove the screws from the sunroof motor, pull straight down to disengage the drive gear from the cables housed within the sunroof cable drive tubes, and then remove the sunroof motor from the sunroof module.

Q: How do you install the sunroof motor/actuator?
A:
You can position the sunroof motor to the sunroof module, push the sunroof motor straight upward to engage the drive gear between the cables housed within the sunroof cable drive tubes, install the sunroof actuator screws to the sunroof actuator, connect the electrical connector to the sunroof motor, install the headliner, initialize/teach the sunroof motor, and then inspect the sunroof for proper operation.
