Q: How to remove the Air Cleaner Element?
A:
You need to remove the air cleaner outlet duct, and disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. Then, you need to disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump inlet hose quick-connect fitting from the air cleaner assembly. After that, you need to disengage the 2 air cleaner housing retainers. Finally, you need to open the air cleaner housing cover and remove the air filter element.

Q: How to install the Air Cleaner Element?
A:
You need to install the air filter element and engage the 2 air cleaner housing retainers securing the cover. Then you need to connect the AIR pump inlet hose quick-connect fitting to the air cleaner assembly. After that, you need to connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor. Finally, you need to install the air cleaner outlet duct.
