A:
You need to position the timing chain tensioner to the engine, install the timing chain tensioner bolts, and remove the tee in the timing chain tensioner to regain tension on the timing chain. Then you need to remove the J 44221 from the camshafts, align the marked links on the timing chain with the timing marks, and install the engine front cover. Finally, you need to install the camshaft cover.

Q: How to remove the Timing Chain Tensioner?

You need to remove the camshaft cover and remove the engine front cover, and you need to rotate the crankshaft in the engine rotational direction clockwise. Then you need to install the J 44221 to the rear of the camshafts, make a mark on the timing chain links, and release the tension on the timing chain. After that, you need to place the tee into the tensioner to hold the shoe in place and remove the timing chain tensioner bolts. Finally, you need to remove the timing chain tensioner from the engine.
