Q: How to remove the Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve?
A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle only high enough to access the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve through the wheelhouse. Then you need to remove the left wheelhouse liner and disconnect the following from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve. After that, you need to disconnect the electrical connector from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, and remove the bolt securing the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve to the engine. Finally, you need to remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve from the engine.

A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle, and disconnect the electrical connector from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent solenoid valve. Then you need to disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve from the EVAP canister. Finally, you need to disengage the bracket retaining tab and remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve.
