Q: How to install the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor?
A:
You can position the accelerator pedal to the accelerator pedal bracket, install the accelerator pedal bolts, connect the APP sensor electrical connector, connect a scan tool to the diagnostic port to test for proper throttle-opening and throttle-closing range, operate the accelerator pedal and monitor the throttle angles. The accelerator pedal should operate freely, without binding, between a closed throttle, and a wide open throttle (WOT), and install the knee bolster.

You can turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, remove the driver knee bolster, disconnect the adjustable pedal position sensor jumper harness electrical connector, remove the adjustable pedal position sensor bolts, and the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster position sensor.
