Q: How do you determine where the power steering fluid is leaking from?
A:
Start diagnosis by inspecting the fluid level in the power steering reservoir, inspect components where the fluids have accumulated, clean off any fluid from the components, apply to trace powder to components, start the vehicle and allow it to reach normal temperatures, turn the steering wheel the stops each direction 3-4 times creating maximum steering system pressure and determine the source of the leak.
