About Acura RL Sunroof Motor

The Acura RL made its debut in 1996. It received a Top Safety Pick designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. RL has made and comes with plenty of quality vehicles and parts, including the sunroof motor parts. The RL sunroof motor is placed under the headliner and connected to the sunroof regulator which makes the sunroof open and close when power is transmitted to the sunroof motor. An RL sunroof motor will also get power and ground depending on which way you press the switch.
Although RL has lots of car parts with good performance, sunroof motor parts still need repair and maintenance after a long time of usage. The removal process of an RL sunroof motor is as follows. Disconnect the negative battery terminal parts. Remove the interior lamp assembly. And disconnect the electrical connector. Then use a pry tool to remove the interior overhead console. Remove the mounting bolts holding the sunroof motor in place and finally drop the motor from the overhead console. Signs of bad RL sunroof motor parts include blown fuses, a bad switch, and the sunroof that gets stuck in place or does not open/close. Get good parts online at a low price with just a few clicks.
