About Acura TSX Timing Chain Tensioner

The Acura TSX is a compact executive car. The model was on Car and Driver's Ten Best list in its first three years of production (2004–2006). TSX comes with plenty of quality vehicles and parts, including the timing chain tensioner. It plays a key role in making sure that the precise amount of tension of the timing chain surrounds the crankshaft and camshaft sprocket. It makes the chain run as smoothly as possible, keeping any uncommon noises from coming off the sprockets.
TSX has many parts, but problems arise after timing chain tensioner parts have been used for a long period. A timing chain tensioner is used to ensure that the crankshaft sprocket and camshaft sprocket have the correct and necessary tension. The removal process for the TSX timing chain tensioner parts is as follows. Remove the front engine accessories (if needed) first. Next, remove the timing cover bolts and pull the timing cover off the vehicle (if needed). Then locate the timing chain tensioner (some are under the timing cover, while others are outside). Finally, remove the bolts holding the timing chain tensioner in place and pull away from the vehicle. There are premium TSX parts and devices online. We have nearly all types of TSX parts in our catalogue to give you a better vehicle both inside and out.
