Dayco Timing Component Kit 84081 is intended to maintain a constant strain on snake belt drives which removes unwanted slip and noise. The tension level deviations are significantly reduced thereby averting accessory bearings wearing out that may result in poor performance of accessories. The kit comprises of a strong cast aluminum arm, spring case, lubricated nylon pivot tube bushing and spring bushing for less noise during its operation. PTFE tape is wrapped around the spring for abrasion resistance. It also comes with a rust-proof zinc plated bolt, steel locator pins, steel pivoting tubes for extra strength and thermoplastic rubberized plugs at both ends. This product should be replaced with new belts to guarantee best engine accessory performance and extended life expectancy.
