FAQ for Air Intake Hose Repair

Q: How do you remove the air cleaner's fresh air duct/hose?
A:
You can disconnect the negative battery cable and the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor. Then remove the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor from the air cleaner outlet duct, and the air cleaner from the wheel housing. Next, we continue rotating the air cleaner upwards until the air cleaner inlet duct is separated from the fender. Then remove the air cleaner cover, the air cleaner element, and the air cleaner inlet duct.

Q: What is the installation procedure for the air cleaner fresh air duct/hose?
A:
You can install the air cleaner inlet duct, the air cleaner element, the air cleaner cover, and the air cleaner to the wheel housing. Next, align the serrated pin with the mounting bracket and install it by pushing it down until the serrated pin is firmly seated in the bracket. Then, we install the MAF sensor to the air cleaner outlet duct and the IAT sensor harness. Finally, we connect the negative battery cable.
