Q: How do you remove the revised steering wheel position sensor or steering shaft lower bearing?
A:
You need to disable the SIR system, and remove the steering column from the vehicle and the following from the steering shaft: steering shaft seal, sensor retainer, steering wheel position sensor, two lower spring retainers, lower bearing spring, lower bearing seat, and adapter and bearing assembly.

Q: What should I avoid doing when installing a new sensor?
A:
If installing a new sensor, it will come with a pin installed in the sensor and you can not remove the pin until the sensor is seated. If the new sensor did not come with a pin installed, you must reorder a new sensor.
