You need to disengage the plastic caps from the quick-connect fittings. Pull the caps back along the pipe, and pull on one of the open ends of the retaining ring to rotate the retaining ring. Then you need to rotate the retaining ring around the quick connector and discard the retaining rings, and you also need to remove the engine Oil Cooler Line from the quick connector fitting at the radiator. Pull the lines straight out from the connectors. After that, you need to clean all of the components in a suitable solvent and dry them with compressed air. Finally, you need to inspect the fittings, the connectors, the cooler lines, and the cooler for damage, distortion, or restriction.

You need to drain the cooling system and reposition the coolant recovery hose clamp from the Radiator, and you also need to remove the coolant recovery reservoir hose from the radiator. Then you need to reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp from the radiator and remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator, and you also should remove the fan shroud. After that, you should reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator, and remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator, the engine oil cooler lines from the radiator, and the transmission oil cooler lines from the radiator. Finally, you can remove the radiator.

You need to partially drain the cooling system, remove the throttle body bracket nuts and reposition the bracket. Then you need to remove the water outlet housing mounting bolts, the water outlet housing, the gasket or O-ring, and the Thermostat. After that, you need to clean all the sealing surfaces of the water outlet housing. Finally, you need to clean the sealing surface on the lower intake manifold.
